Good food! A little on the pricy side. Quick service, but gets busy at lunch time.

Tastes good, but fairly expensive.

Empire is easily a top 5 lunch spot in the Biltmore area. They have fantastic sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, and burgers for very reasonable prices. They are generous with the sides, and a half sandwich is more than enough food for the majority of people. They also serve breakfast, and the Empire Omelette is fantastic with fresh spinach and goat cheese. The environment is very clean with places to sit and read/work as well as eat. It is very busy during the lunch hour but the food is always speedy.

I work nearby (walking distance) and go to Empire often, their sandwiches are amazing, I am not generally a fan of Reubens, but yesterday had the best Reuben ever (their "hot special"), and will get it again when available. They have many wraps with creative flavor combinations. They also have a fantastic French Onion Soup, the best of I know of in town, when they have it as a daily soup. High quality at reasonable prices, I get the sandwiches with their homemade potato chips, which are also very good. I am anxious to try their philly cheese steak, which they advertise as a "Best in Phoenix" award winner.
