    They spent huge money on the buildout, I’m guessing and the atmosphere shows that. The execution on food was amazing, everything was really well done. Best tuna nigiri I have had…well that and buck and rider

    Out of this world sushi and miso cod!! We live across the street and we were so thrilled to stumble across this place one week after it opened. We are absolute sushi snobs and have never found sushi in Phoenix that we love. But, Obon changed our mind. The bigeye tuna was maybe the best nigiri that we have ever had. Seriously, it was next level. We also had the steak tartar and miso cod, both equally as impressive. The drinks were great and the ambience and service were amazing. We literally had tears of joy when we left. I'm so happy to have such an amazing restaurant within walking distance. We can't wait to go back for more tuna and to try the steak.

    Awesome drinks and the food was even better. Staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend
