The Arrogant Butcher

The food and service was good. The food selection was different but great. The only critique is that the food pairings left a little too be desired. For example, we would have preferred that the meatloaf and mashed potatoes also include a vegetable. Overall, the dinner was great though. The chef's platter (meat/cheese) plate was great. The dinner was good too.

This was my first visit here but it came highly recommended. Lauren (I believe that was her name) was our server and she was outstanding. We started off with the pretzel bites and fondue cheese which I must say were incredibly scrumptious. We did not regret that choice. I had the Heirloom Beet and Kale salad with chicken and my friend the Butcher's Meatloaf. My salad was delightful and just what I was looking for in a light and healthy salad full of flavor and just the right amount of savory to sweet ratio. My friend's meatloaf was not your mom's meatloaf. It was an artful creation that was dressed in a perfectly seasoned gravy accompanied by perfectly crafted Yukon gold mashed potatoes that had a precise ratio of mash to bite- sized pieces. We will certainly keep this restaurant on our short list and hope the rest of the menu is as rewarding as today.

I had a great experience at this restaurant last night. I ordered the scallops and it is perfectly cooked and the taste is delicious. Aside from that, I had the Jambalaya with the beer cheese soup. I love the atmosphere, it is relaxing and not too formal. The people are friendly and welcoming. I would like to come back and try some of the other menus.

Excellent restaurant! Energized, yet relaxed (not formal) atmosphere. Great food. Wait staff very polite & attentive. Available to do groups. Will definitely be coming back here!

I've been here twice now, first I had the green chili stew, the flavors were awesome. My 2nd dinner was the scallops, good portion of fresh, perfectly cooked scallops. Someone I was with got the crab legs, which were served cold & so delicious, no butter even needed!! Fun atmosphere as well & nice staff!
