Carribbean Marketplace Grill

Got the oxtail meal with rice and beans and cabbage...season well..next time I will ask for more sauce the rice and beans were a little dry. Overall was worth the $16.25 paid for the meal. Just remember ask for more sauce.

Our first visit to the Restaurant. It's bare essentialed and small, a little smokey (not sure why) so we ate outside "cause it was a nice day. Mom and Pop type place with pleasant down to earth people behind the counter. That said and that's not bad, shortly after we got our food and was chowing down, we were talking about returning. Both of us had the jerk chicken with different sides. The chicken was flame grilled, nicely seasoned and not spicey hot and juicy inside. I had fried plantains which were crispy outside and firm inside and had this wonderful flavor. The rice and beans were good though nothing special. Though only a couple of customers when we got there early, the number of folks was increasing as we were leaving. I recommend this grill liking this type restaurant.

Amazing food. Great friendly staff. Went during Lunch with a Coworkers. We all loved it. The lady there was very nice.

First visit and ordered the oxtail dinner with rice and beans, plantains and it was delicious. We ordered a tray of oxtails for this holiday dinner. Small establishment, kitchen visible to all to see and Miss Martha the chef was busy cooking the incoming orders. Come all you'll enjoy and I will definitely be back.????

GET THE JERK CHICKEN. It's delicious. I had the jerk chicken bowl with rice and peas (just a note: they are kidney beans and not pigeon peas, still very delicious). My boyfriend got the ribs. They aren't very good. He tried my chicken and was sad he didn't get that instead. It's definitely their specialty. They also bring you the food in microwavable containers. No need to ask for a doggy bag and no need to transfer leftovers to microwave them. Very convenient. I'd go back. The reason I gave it three stars and not higher:
- my boyfriend's brother (a picky eater) ordered plain rice...and got rice and peas instead.
- my boyfriend's mom ordered the cabbage...and got rice and peas instead.
- the ribs weren't great
- the lady at the counter has a pretty bad attitude...but the lady that cooked and served the food seemed very nice!
Overall, I'd recommend it for a lunch spot if you work in the area and are craving chicken.
