    This place is amazing, food always fresh and full of flavor, I wish I could give it 10 stars instead of 5. Most definitely recommended

    My husband and I loved the food from Detroit Soul. It smells so good in the car on the way home it's hard not to pick at. Very well seasoned. Worth the drive and the wait anyday.

    Went here on a weeknight and it was BUSY busy, long wait but I'd do it again. $18 for a plate of oxtails, mac and cheese, baked beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cornbread. I could tell they were backed up so it took a long while to get the food, but it was hot and real savory, well made. There's a dining room separate from the actual ordering room, parking is in the back. Props to the folks here and we'll be back for sure!
