Delicious food, attentive staff, lots of bar seating & the atmosphere was a vibe.

I had to minus one star for the portion size. Everything is so tiny for the price! The noodle dish was approximately 2 bites per person lol. Service and taste made up for it but would love a bigger portion for what I’m paying.

Absolutely fantastic. Starting with the ambience, the jade colored tiles mixed with the art deco theme was eye candy throughout the whole night. The food was top-notch, we had a plethora of dishes, including the dungeness crab pasta, the short rib skewers, sweet potatoes, yellowtail sashimi and more. This is already a favorite spot of ours, and we highly recommend to all. In addition, the drinks were tasty and service was to a key.

Beautiful restaurant, chic, stylish and an attractive crowd begging for the delicious food served from hibachi styled hot coals. Date night, or special eve...you can't go wrong, tip- ask to be seated by the kitchen so you may experience the chefs craft the stunning food.

PYRO offers a diverse menu that is a perfect mix of Japanese Izakaya and American bistro. They believe in cooking dishes on a live-fire open flame, so that the cooking allows the ingredients’ natural flavors to shine through.🔥Here’s everything we ordered ⬇️:

    🤌🏽 Tuna Hand Roll
    🍜 Yakisoba Noodles
    🐠 Yellowtail Sashimi
    🥬 Butter Lettuce
    🥩 Filet Mignon

My honest opinion on Phoenix’s newest spot? 👇🏽

The raw dishes and noodles were out of this world. Super fresh, flavorful, and full of salty, sweet, and savory bites. Their specialty is definitely Japanese cuisine. Both the salad and filet were good. However, I realized that the steak was a little dry and needed the tare glaze it came with (was amazing!) when our waitress took the plate prematurely. So I had to ask for a side dish of the sauce.

I would give this place a 5/5 but the service was not good. Our waitress put two out of six items in wrong so we had to awkwardly tell the runner & wine connoisseur that it wasn’t we ordered. They checked on us just about every 5 minutes which interrupted the flow. As we’re enjoying our last two appetizers, our steak is brought to the table. Mind you, it’s a pretty small table so the runner should’ve known it wasn’t time to eat the entree yet. The steak got cold from just being on the table, so we had to ask them to put it back on the fire. Lastly, remember how I mentioned our glaze was taken prematurely? Yeah - we’re slicing our steak (on individual plates) and dipping it into the pictured plate and a waitress just comes and takes it. We were shocked! I had to flag down our waitress to bring a side dish of the glaze to finish our steak with.

Seeing as how they just opened, I’m sure they know they have some improvements to make.

Out of curiosity I stopped into newly opened Pyro for a glass of wine. It's across the street from where I live so I was curious. What a beautiful restaurant! The decor is stunning. And instead of being one big space, like so many restaurants that get very noisy, it has smaller sections that are quite intimate. For my wine I opted for the Devil's Corner which was smooth and luxurious. The perfect wine for a relaxing afternoon. Next time I visit, I'll definitely order a meal.
