“I live in the neighborhood and have been meaning to check out this place. I love supporting local and small businesses and appreciate the concept! So, this afternoon I decided to give Eat Up a go for lunch. I went through the drive thru and ordered the Caesar Wrap $8 with grilled chicken $4 and it came with fries or Caesar salad. I chose the fries. When I pulled up to the window, it took about 5min or so for my food to come out. The young guy who took my order, working the window was very very kind, so he made the experience positive. It smelled good, so I was excited. When I sat down to eat, I grabbed a fry, mouth watering and was not really happy with what I tasted. The fries were not hot for the wait that I had. They also tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil, not good. The Caesar wrap was okay - nothing to write home about. I really wanted to enjoy the new kids on the block but unfortunately, I won't likely be back.”

“first time visiting arizona and i googled brunch near me and this place was an option. the reason this place won because they have short rib options. the vibe was awesome and the music was jumping. our food came out quickly, we wasn’t expecting that. the food was good, the only thing i didn’t pay attention to was the rosemary, its apart of the seasoning on the potatoes. my sister got the shrimp & grits and they looked delicious. i recommend everyone to give this location a chance, the staff was very friendly as well.”

“Excellent excellent burritos! Reasonably priced! Went in with my coworker and got the Carne Asada burritos and they were delicious! Perfect amount of meat, pico, rice, everything! The flavor was amazing! The red sauce was also excellent! Kris was very nice, courteous and efficient! 10/10 will come back every time I’m in the area!”

“Wow! We came to this restaurant because of the good Google reviews, but when we drove up, it was almost deserted. We were greeted by the friendly owners, and led to a modest booth. Presented with the menus, we asked for recommendations, which the owner gladly made. We ended up trying the appetizer sampler and a fruit drink that we hadn't planned on, but were pleased on both accounts. I ordered coffee, which they made fresh for me, and brought with a creamer full of HEATED CREAM! I have NEVER been served coffee with heated cream! What a nice surprise. We ordered three of the Salvadoran dinners (there were three of us) and enjoyed them all family-style. Tooped the dinner off with a banana burrito with ice cream - a very nice ending. A very pleasant dining experience in modest trappings with modest prices. Everything seemed fresh, was served hot, and with grace and a smile from the owners. I will be back...”

“Took a chance and decided to try this place out. The restaurant is older but the decor was beautiful! It had age and the detail of all the woodwork was stunning. The appetizer was very good, I enjoyed the chicken wings the most. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The veggies were all fresh but the chicken and fried rice lacked flavor. The service was very nice but some people by the front door were waiting up to 15 minutes just to be greeted. There was only one waitress working the floor during lunch so she was trying her best. Over not a terrible place.”

“Talk about an experience. Firstly to use an old church and make it ta Taco restaurant gives such a nice vibe. As a woodworker I appreciate the woodworking inside. The decorations are tasteful and still tie into the vibe of the church and culture. The Tacos were great. Guacamole and 4 options of sauces. It's definitely some place I want to come back to. We did have a large group for a work event and it went very smoothly. Staff was amazing and the south end of the church was able to accommodate all of us.”

“Nice little Japanese restaurant. The food is good. Bread is soft. Decor is nice. Service is awesome and attentive except for one older Hispanic? Lady. Mean and rude. Good selection for vegetarian. The tempura is one of a kind so far in my Japanese restaurants experience in the U.S., has gobo and lotus root. Avoid the sauce if you don't eat fish since it probably has dashi in it. Bathroom is clean and cool.”
