“First of all this location in particular has messed up my drink almost every time the past couple months, not sure why maybe new hires. Today I called and told them and Nyna said, even though they had closed she would make me a new drink and bring it to me when I got there. “The açai bowls in the food are pretty good, however it takes so long to get them! I don’t understand why they are so slow at working, they are only making bowls and glorified peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Why does it take 30 minutes to get a small order of simple food? It’s unfortunate, because I do enjoy their food but I don’t think I would be going back especially if I’m pressed for time.”

“The food is great and the service and ambiance is spot on for what it is. A neighborhood bar with a great Mexican inspired menu. The only reason I'm not at five stars is because I didn't get a chance to hit the dessert or the margaritas.... Food just ok… husband got the pulled pork sandwich and liked that, son got ribs and said they were good. I got burnt ends-do not recommend. Literally half of every piece was solid fat, not edible. The corn bread so hard and stale we couldn’t even eat them, the cupcake paper wouldn’t even come off. Beans and coleslaw were good, but expensive for the small portion ($6-$8 for small 1/4 lb serving size). Not sure if we caught it and a bad time or what, will give it another try at a different time or eat there. Flavors were decent for some of the items. Hope they make it, need a good restaurant option in Oro Valley!!”

“Wonderful change from the noisy chain restaurants in oro valley. Our server was sweet and helped us with the menu choices. Nice atmosphere, small, quiet, with beautiful photos of Thailand gracing the walls. The egg rolls and green curry were flavorful with fragrant herbs and spices you can only get from authentic thai dishes. Support this family owned restaurant gem. We want them to succeed. “I have to say, zpizza has customer service down. Tonight, I had placed an order through Grub Hub. I called and talked with the lovely Savannah who was so nice in answering my pregnancy questions. After a while, I noticed my order had not been picked up yet and they were minutes away from closing. I called to check in and talked with Savannah again, and she informed me that one of the guys in the kitchen insisted in dropping off our food for us because my order wasn't getting picked up. Dexter was so kind and thoughtful to drive our order all the way to our house and made this pregnant lady very happy. I've worked in restaurants all my life and know that normally, no one would volunteer to do a kind gesture like that. Not only was the food delicious this gesture meant so much to me, I'll never forget it. Thank you Savannah and Dexter! Keep doing what you're doing! Your managers and mommas should be proud!”

“Best Chinese food I've had in a long time if not ever. I had the chicken curry minus potatoes. I have a hard time finding good curry, but they nailed it! I could eat this every day! The food taste clean and fresh, not greasy. My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken. They were generous with the meat proportions, which is hard to find anymore. It's usually all batter, but not here. The chicken was white and moist. All of the vegetables were perfectly cooked- not soggy with a light crisp but not underdone. Prices were a great value. We had left overs between the 2 of us. We will definitely come back!!”

“It wasn't until recently that we tried Macros, actually due to watching an old episode of undercover boss. Honestly I had always thought of it as a second tier big pizza place. Always playing second fiddle to the big three everyone knows of. I was wrong this isn't second fiddle. This is the conductor. This location always seems to have friendly staff that seem to value their place of employment. It goes into the product they make. The pizza always tastes fresh and is a notch above the prior mentioned big three. This is our go to place for pizza for my family. We seem to be returning about once a week, without deviation toward another pizza place. I recommend it to everyone I know that lives near this Oro Valley location.”

“Tried this place as it had out door seating. Sat outside and the atmosphere was welcoming. Food selection was limited so I opted for the burger. Wanted fish and chips but did not see that available on the menu. Ordered the 2 burgers and both arrived in good time and cooked correct. The burgers were both way to busy. To much stuff on the burger to even eat it like a burger. The fries are dang good! Fries are clearly house made and they do a good job at it and I recommend everyone give them a sample. Price was a little steep for the food but the environment was nice so you have to weigh what is important to you, I would prefer simpler food. To go box was made of environmentally friendly material and not plastic or styrofoam. For this reason alone I would consider returning. Thank you for being aware of issues in the world.”
