Really enjoyed breakfast here on a rainy morning! The only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars is because it wasn't hot enough by the time they walked it outside and through the courtyard. Maybe cloches would help?? The staff was attentive and friendly, and I loved the atmosphere, even though it was a bit chilly. I definitely want to go back in the evening for a cocktail!
Service was great, and food came out quick. All our food was hot, but not in the “sat in the food window for so long you can’t touch the plate” hot.
Flavors were great. Variety and ability to make substitutions was fab. Portions compared to price were acceptable. If you are getting an app with a full entree I don’t recommend getting an additional side… we were so so full!!! Downside with pulled pork was that the bottom bun was so soggy from the juices I couldn’t eat it.
Great atmosphere for dinner. They have heaters all over, but I recommend bringing a jacket! They don’t take reservations for smaller parties, so on an evening with great weather and their live music I recommend getting there a little earlier for your meal :)
I love the ambiance, customer service, and food. I went in the evening and it was very intimate. The restaurant is outdoors surround by colorfully painted small businesses. They have a center stage where they play live music. It's a very casual environment and the have the cutest restaurant cat named Lucky Girl, who is friendly as well.
I have the Mediterranean salad with chicken and hummus. It was delicious! They serve large portions.
I originally googled “best margarita in Tucson”, but now have eaten there twice since their recent reopening. It’s probably one of most queer-friendly places I’ve found in Tucson, the staff are extraordinary, and the ambiance is very chill. We have eaten there twice during our 7-day vacation in the area, and then gotten to-go orders to take home! I love the aged, smoked pulled pork tacos, and obviously, they really do have the best Margaritas in town. A kind, lovely, and delicious restaurant!
LaCo has some great (vegetarian and non-vegetarian -- almost everything has an option to swap) food in generous portions, accompanied by an awesome drink selection with wine, local brews, and an adjustment of cocktails. Tables are set in an amazing open air setting with live music and casual atmosphere. Absolutely worth a visit, but reservations may be a good idea. It wasn't so busy late afternoon in the middle of the week, but I imagine we hit at a good time.
