Sullivan's Steakhouse

Fleming's used to be my favorite steak place in town. However, I feel like Sullivan's has stepped up their game. Better service and food than in years past IMO. Plus added value in that they will take a pic of your birthday party members and print it immediately.

The steak and desert was excellent. The service was pretty good. Didn't care for the sides or appetizer. We were at an organizational meeting with about 40 people. Seemed like they had enough servers. The food was hot which was nice. However it took almost two hours to get our food. It was nearly 9 PM on a Thursday night when we finished. Not sure if they had a bunch of chefs call in?!?

I went on a Thursday night and sat at the bar area. I mostly went to listen to the live band that they had playing there and it was such a nice atmosphere!

My rating is a bit skewed because of our extremely long wait to be seated and served! We had a reservation for a party of 11 - when we arrived the restaurant was not prepared so we had to wait...then once seated the drink orders were taken with a measurable wait. From there everything else was a lengthy wait....
The food, however, once received was cooked to perfection I had the 8 ounce Filet Mignon with Asparagus - it was delicious although the wait had me a bit perturbed to truly enjoy it. One party had the fish of the day which was Grouper and complimented that it was cooked very well and tasty. I plan to visit again before I leave Tucson to hopefully give the 5 star rating that drove me to dine here....
