“I ordered takeout and got the brisket for four family meal. It was all delicious. It was my first time visiting this establishment despite having been in and around the area for several years and now I regret not going sooner. The steak fries and heavy, thick mash potatoes that came with the meal were especially great. I will say that the meal was suppose to feed four but the corn bread that came with was enough for 1 person and we must have a different definition of feeds four in BBQ terms. But hey this place is a great and it's pleasant addition to my list of restaurants in this area.”

“The quality in how SOFT the scones are here is nothing shy of PERFECTION. Definitely try them out. We also bought a $5 family game the owner invented to do with the kids. The sampler scones were ridiculously good when dipped in their sugary sauce. When I did a search for it on Google it didn’t show up under the normal way of spelling Scones which should be fixed so more people can find it.”

“We live in the area but this was our first visit. The bartender was not very friendly. My first impression was that the owners need to get a better bartender because the bartender can really make the bar. My glass was completely empty and I had not been offered another drink when I had to stop the bartender as she walked by and ask for another drink. I asked another employee if we could have a menu. In the 45 minutes we were there we were never asked if we wanted to order food. We then found out that the bartender was an owner!!! I was shocked!!! Keep in mind they had just reopened after COVID but there was no appreciation for our business. She never thanked us for coming in , even when she brought the bill. The food was average bar food. We likely wont we back. If it was my business, I would run it much different. EVERY customer has the potential of being a regular and EVERY customer should be treated that way!”

“Always our go to place when driving from the San Tan Valley area to Tucson. Route 79 always fill of surprises. Food decent and the staff was very attentive. We prefer the counter so this way we can meet more folks. Hostess girl, not up to the level of the rest of the staff. Showed her that the toothpick dispenser was empty and after I pointed that out to the hostess, she said ok, and just walked away, never filling the toothpick dispenser. Oh well, not everyone gets to fly in the space shuttle”

“They have ups and Downs. But everyone's super friendly and deserve to be recognized as being great people. The food is fast food it's not perfect but is what you want when you want it. The drinks are really good and often very sweet. Best item is a chili dog with tots and a large cherry limeade. It's not gourmet and it's not a sit-down restraint. Mistakes will be made. They get four stars because they handle themselves well and are ready and willing to fix mistakes. I image if it wasn't for turnover and constant training they could improve their wait time and snag that last star. Other than that they are a very good place for sweets and meats.”

“I love Jalapeños. It's so convenient. The drive through takes very little time and everything seems so fresh. I usually have their breakfast burritos with bacon and potatoes. They are excellent. The staff at the window are always very sweet and helpful! I have had their bean and cheese burritos and they are so good! The green salsa is very good a little heat but I love the heat so bring it on. I would definitely say a 9 out of 10!”

“Went in to Dragon City a bit hesitant and quickly realized there was no reason to be. Our waitress personable, she knew the menu and was attentive without being overly so. It was open seating and she noticed the table we chose would have put direct sun in one of our eyes, so she offered to let us move to a different table out of the sunlight. I ordered the egg drop soup to start out with and it was perfect. The flavor was good, the temperature was great, and it was the right consistency. Next came our entrees. My mother ordered the honey walnut shrimp and I ordered the steak curry. The shrimp were huge, much to our delight, and the portion could have easily cost us more than double what we paid. My steak curry had just the right amount of spice to make it palatable to everyone. The steamed rice served with each entree was a nice big portion. The only reasons I am not giving 5 stars: 1. While our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, when I went to order the steak curry (after she raved about another curry dish) she told me she was not sure how it tasted and that it wasn't a popular item so she couldn't promise me it would be good. 2. The lighting that was offered for the table we ended up at was insufficient once the sun set a little more. Would have been much better with a light directly over the table, rather than the recessed lighting 10ft up. All in all the food was amazing and the staff were nice. We will definitely be visiting again (but probably to one of the booths with a light directly over the table).”
