“So good we had it back-to-back! Arrived in town for the eclipse, and had an amazing dinner experience! Building is open, welcoming, and friendly. Every single member of staff was jumping in where needed, and happy to answer any questions. Drink selection is great. Food was made fresh to order, and every single person in our party loved their meal choice. Came back for our very next meal and the brunch menu was enjoyed just as much (brunch frittata pictured). “I've been dieting, and splurged today and I want to marry the chocolate swirl cheesecake I had. I dont know the actual name of it, but it was swoon-worthy. There might have been a back note of coffee. Now I'm addicted. I also had the Mediterranean salad, which was also excellent. Lots of Kalamata olives, feta and red onions, not to mention a large amount of white breast meat cut into chunks. Also, huge points for not biting into any fat or gristle, it was pristine. The Greek dressing was good as well, and they had many dressings to choose from. My only negative isnt on them, its whoever owns the property- I was using a walker and had to park at the other end of the strip of shops where the handicapped ramp was and walk all the way down to the other end. Again, not their fault. It was $32 for 2 salads and 1 dessert in a take out scenario, but it was great quality delicious food, not to be confused with fast food, so worth it, and I will be going back on my next cheat day.”

“I'm giving it four stars because the staff were fantastic. The eggs, hash browns and bacon were delicious. The pancake was as big as my head! BUT and I don't say this lightly because I'm a number one fan of breakfast foods- BUT the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy tasted as if they were a day or two old and heated up. The middles were soft but the edges took on that rock hard quality that occurs when you heat bread up in the microwave for too long...ughhhh! Other than that the food, service, cleanliness, decor were great!”

We got 2 eggs over medium, 3 sausage links for me - 2 patties for my husband, huge serving of PERFECT hash browns, biscuit & gravy filling a separate plate, all for $7.00. And coffee, refilled as needed. I was pleased to find the sausage not overly salty or hot spicy, just mild. The parking lot and the dining room were crowded. The table we selected had money lying on it, a tip from the previous occupant. I watched the server spray the table with a liquid antiseptic and wipe it with a clean cloth. Server was cheery. They close after lunch at 2 p.m. The rocky parking area was a little difficult to negotiate with my rolling walker.”

“It's really good pizza. We tried the Italian sausage pizza with extra cheese and it was so delicious. All their ingredients are very high quality and Italian sausage was a mildly spicy but complimented the pizza perfectly. I really like the heat from the Italian sausage wgichh paired so well with the cheese. The cheese they use is superb. We have some leftover slices for tomorrow and I'm sure it will be just as good. We ordered a large and it was a around $20. I ordered ours to go but the noticed the interior of the restaurant was very clean and look like a nice place to eat their food. I got a chance to speak with the owner and you can tell he is really into the quality of his pizza. I would highly recommend House of Pizza to anybody who's visiting Mountain Home.”

The zucchini was perfectly tender crisp, marinara was so bright tasting and chicken was juicy! Just the perfect size too! Super glad I was able to finally try this spot! We all come from very different walks of life but have bonded together as family better than any job I have ever had. This is because we are guided by some of the most amazing owners. They will work just as hard if not harder than the crew. Usually there before opening and did not leave until close. How many owners do you see that will go wash dishes, then if need be get behind the line and cook, then run food for his servers and still find the time to go out on the floor to shake customers hands and get to know the customers on a more personal level? I’ve never seen it in my 40 years of life! We are lead by some of the best managers around and pull together with the best teamwork you will ever see! Our cooks that are behind the scenes are some of the best hard working guys I have ever witnessed and will go out of their way to make sure they have the servers backs!
