“After reading some of the reviews , I almost skipped this restaurant, however I'm glad I went. I wrote a food column in the Los Angeles area for about 5 years so I've sampled quite an array of Mexican Restaurants in my 50 + years. For Tex Mex, I was quite pleased with the food and service here. I received a friendly greeting and good service from the wait staff. Some people had complained about the chips and salsa. The chips are quite thick but that's because they're homemade and don't taste like chips out of a bag. The salsa was definitely not typical but I found their blended version fresh and a nice change from the usual. The chicken and cheese enchilada plate was tasty, well spiced with a generous serving of rice and beans. The food tasted fresh and inspired and I'll definitely be back. For you folks reading reviews and on the fence about coming here , I'd say it's worth a try. I enjoyed La Cabana.”

“WOOWW!! This hole in the Wal is incredible! Small little joint that often looks a little too full... bc the food and service are good. But they’ll either give you a wait time or send your food to go. They are quick and food is authentic and delicious. Highly recommend.”

“I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, sweet tea to drink. All were fresh, hot, and delicious! Seated as soon as I walked in the door. The waitress/hostess was overstretched but doing fair at keeping up. She was also cute as a button, very courteous, and knowledgeable with the menu.”
