“I had stopped by this place on Fri Oct 27 hoping to get a menu and find out the date of their opening. I was Givin a flyer with info on it. They were opening next day 28th. So day after that I was in there. Nice place it's a bit on the outskirts of lake village, ample amount of parking, it's usually not a busy part of town, so easy to get to. We were greeted outside and welcomed, as we opened door welcomed once again everyone was so friendly and happy. I noticed how clean everything was, tables were shiny. No sooner sat down greeted by another and asked about our drinks. They came very promptly along with chips and salsa. The menu, wow pages and pages I had to have my husband go get my glasses . We ordered and within a short length of time our order came. It smelled very good. It looked very good, and yes indeed it was really really good, we will be going back ! I didn't look too close but yes they do sell Margaret's and such . Yummy!!!”

“We stayed in The Gran. It is a one bedroom cabin facing Lake Chicot. The view was amazing and the cabin was very nice and comfortable. Heather, the lady who booked our stay was very friendly and helpful. After a long day of fishing, we were able to take a hot shower and relax. The kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook during your stay. They even had a charcoal grill. You could also walk over to the bar and grill fairly close to the cabin. 10/10 would recommend. We will stay here every time we are visiting Lake Chicot or Lake Ferguson. So convenient and much nicer than many hotels. We had plenty of room for our truck and boat.”

“Definitely a hidden gem in Lake Village. I always look for soul food spots wherever I go, and was so surprised to find one here. Thanks Google 😉. The spot has been there for about 40 years, and still kicking. It was like going to your grandma’s kitchen. We were greeted by 2 Nice ladies in the front. They have more than hot tamales, and this was my first time having those. There’s a small buffet set up for the lunch options. And they have a menu for you to order other items. I wish they stayed open past 2. Prices are very reasonable. And yes I put hot sauce on everything. 😏”

“We used the drive through, so it could be partly our fault, but we ordered three bismarrks, 1 chocolate, 1 Bavarian cream and 1 strawberry, plus an apple fritter. When we received our order in two bags we expected to have two pastries in each one. One bag had the apple fritter, but the other bag had one strawberry Bismark and one with no filling at all. When we get another hankering for pastries we might be back.”
