Cuban Cafe & Coffee shop with Vegan/vegetarian options. Coffee shop vibes and absolutely delicious food! I've tried 2 of their vegan sandwiches (yum yum yum) and their Jungle Bowl (vegan). Flavor fusions at their finest. A perk that I enjoy, is the complimentary black or green tea. The Chai Latte is really good too.
This is Hot Springs only Cuban inspired restaurant. Honestly, I would guess it's the one and only in all of Arkansas but I may be mistaken. I ordered the Tampa half sandwich meal. First, the bread is made right there and I was very surprised to learn that. I can confirm that the bread of the sandwich and the cinnamon rolls were exceptionally good! Second, it came with two small bowls of rice and black beans. The sandwich featured two or three kinds of meal, high quality, perfectly prepared. There was a pickle and I believe mustard. There may have been cheese on it but I ate it so fast that I don't remember! Yes, it was delicious. The rice really stood out to me. I enjoy rice, I can make rice, I know a good rice when I experience it. This was a fabulous rice! The rice is perfectly fluffy and flavored. I really liked the sauce that went over it and the fresh cilantro. I could not identify the herbs of the black beans. They told me garlic and cilantro but I must be forgetting something. The beans were unique and delicious. I really could have made a meal of their beans and rice. I regret not ordering the Yerba Mate Tea soda! Yes, that's a thing! I'll order that the next time I dine in. On Tuesdays, there are musicians. There is a wonderful artistic atmosphere right down to the wall paper which I was told was designed and printed by the owners. Prices are reasonable too. I would argue that these prices are slightly more than fast food and therefore very reasonable.
I was looking for espresso at 5:30 in the evening, and this was pretty much the only non chain place that was open. I'm glad I gave it a try! The staff were very friendly, there is a seating area where people can relax and look at interesting art or play games, and the dining area is small but neat and easy to navigate. The parking can be challenging if you are coming from the south. The menu has a good variety, and everything is clearly explained. I look forward to coming back to try some of the sandwiches.
Decided to check out this new place for lunch & so glad I did. I had the Tampa style Cuban sandwich’ & it was one the best Cubans I’ve ever had! The sandwich was packed with lots of meat & just the right amount of veggies & dressing. The owner Hunter is great to talk with & was super welcoming. He even gave me a sample of their rice/black beans & honestly it was the best I’ve ever tasted.
Great food & owners, great setting/atmosphere for lunch dining and a side room with couches/chairs to enjoy their great selection of coffees. Vegan/vegetarian options for those who love that as well. All around great experience & definitely will be a regular customer!
A most excellencent choice for a coffee experience and a great start to a family owned company that is exactly what Hot Springs needs. I had the Coconut Cubano and my wife had the El Rey de Batidos Mocha. We also tried the cinnamon roll. All we're great choices!! And they're just getting started. Can't wait to see how this place develops and started serving food.
Service was awesome and they were very attentive to us especially since we had a 2 year old with us.
They're just beginning so they're working out their rhythm. They're not the fastest but in my opinion you get what you want for which is a MUCH better cup of coffee.
Will definitely be back
