Fat Jacks

The food is very good. The gumbo was okay. Keep in mind that there is not a set recipe for gumbo. Got a basket of fried fish, oysters, shrimp…. this was very good if you want a variety.

We had the Brandy Fries and oysters as our appetizers and the fries were awesome but the oysters had a bad fishy taste to them. We had the Buffalo chicken bites, shrimp pasta and the fish shrimp and oyster platter. The bites were great the basket was good and the shrimp pasta was ok. The Hurricane drink was awesome and the beer was cold!

Everything we had was so good. I got the Fat Caps and they were amazing. Everything about them was fantastic! That sauce!!!! Yum! My husband had the crabcakes and my daughter had the fried oysters and honestly you couldnt get anything any better in New Orleans or anywhere else on the gulf. The service was great and I love the atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

This place is awesome. The oysters were fresh and huge, we had a burger and it was seasoned to perfection. The waitress was outstanding. This is a definite must go to place if you are in Hot Springs. Whether it is for lunch or dinner or just a drink on the patio this place should definitely be on your list to go to.
