“We arrived to a cabin without working water, and no onsite manager. When we called, they said they’d be down to change our rooms. We waited and waited. Called back were told a different story. We stayed here before over thanksgiving with all my family. Same issues, no power in the cabin, they switched us. It’s a beautiful spot. No direct lake access unless you have a boat. But come prepared to face anything. This has been a common occurrence. Rooms are always clean, but a business is a business, things got to work.”

“A hidden gem. My wife and I tried this place since we recently moved to the Royal area. The food was prepared quick and the portion sizes were excellent. The prices are down home and not expensive at all. I highly recommend their breakfast if your near by.”

“Great stop for breakfast!!!! Very tasty biscuits - just right! The sausage gravy was good as well.... Good consistency, not too greasy or salty (as we often find!) Hash browns were cooked just about perfectly - outstanding! Very friendly & welcoming staff! Prices pretty reasonable. Very pleasant, clean & bright restaurant! (The only downside was the coffee - weak, weak, weak) Great Place - will go back and recommend it to you !!!!!”

“The food was good. Nothing special, but tasted fine. The pizza was definitely covered with real cheese. The wait for our order to arrive was a bit long but they were getting very busy right after we showed up. Once the musician started playing they were very busy, possibly short staffed. There were a couple of issues with the sound, not the musicians fault, but it was good otherwise.”
