Copper Mule Table & Tap- Heights

First time to Copper Mule and we cannot wait to come back! The service was GREAT, the food was DELICIOUS, the cocktails were wonderful, and the dessert was scrumptious. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

I loved this. My friend and I were just trying things and everything we had was good. Fried green tomatoes with spicy crab and remoulade - yum! Alligator toast which was a cheese dip with alligator in it and topped with green onion with grilled toast points - decadent. Pimento cheese with hot pepper jelly and hot crackers - addictive. I liked my strawberry basil mule. I loved the green eyed lady! My friend liked her blueberry mojito but loved the lavender lemonade! Everything was amazing and even though it was packed, service was attentive.

Since I’ve been here three times in the week the Copper Mule has been open, I think it is fair to say that I like it! The casual atmosphere, good food, fun cocktail menu, and great service (thank you, Jaylon!) means this restaurant will be part of our regular rotation going forward. The pimento cheese with pepper jelly and mule balls are my favorite appetizers so far. Everything has been great.

Lovely ambiance and even better grub! The service was excellent and so hospitable. Best restaurant in town! Leaving full and happy.

Went on opening night and by 7pm they were out of jambalaya, which seemed like an oversight (they weren’t really that busy when we got there either). Service was good and friendly. We had three different mules and all were delicious (best part of the meal). Appetizers were probably better than our entrees (we had fried green tomatoes topped with spicy crab, and crawfish tails). That’s not to say that the entrees weren’t good, they were, but we weren’t blown away by anything. It’s hard to say what was missing, the ingredients were all high quality and cooked well, I think they might have been light on seasoning for Cajun food. Just didn’t quite have that pop that you expect. Overall it was good and we’ll be back, especially for the drinks and apps, but I do want to explore more of the menu
