When we asked my cousin who now lives in California if she wanted BBQ her voice lowered and she said oh yes. I have lived far away from good BBQ for many years and look forward to family trips back to eat pulled pork. This place used to be an Applebee's
It's huge. Right off the interstate. We fed 5 people.with sodas and a nice tip for under $100. The pulled pork was delicious. The beans were delicious. They had lots of different sauces to decide from on the table and it was fun trying them all.
The restaurant is filled with Memphis in May trophies. I'm from Memphis and if you won a trophy there I know you are going to know how to smoke a pig. The trophies go back as far as the 1990s so I might have been watching fireworks when they were down on the river cooking.
Everyone in the party left pleased.

Now was this absolutely amazing, it was beyond. The rub spice ribs, the mash potatoes to the brisket. Pull pork. Then there 7 BBQ sauce probably more I can't remember but the memory OMG of the food will never go away. ❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏oh then they have pickles with red/purple onions, the jalapeños were hot but so good..

Enjoyed our dinner at Whole Hog Cafe- we stayed at the Marriott hotel and they recommended the restaurant for a quick hot meal so we thought we’d give them a try. Good Decision - it was delicious. We ordered the pulled pork plate with 2 sides.
The pork was flavorful, warm and tender.
The atmosphere was relaxed and the restaurant was clean and orderly.
You go to the counter to order then get your own drinks from the fountain. They also serve a simple glass of wine $5 (various types) and there’s beer on tap also.
They called our name and you go back up to the front counter get your food.
The variety of sauces was the best - there were 6 sauces on the table and addition upon request.
But the six were plenty. It was fun mixing them.
Glad we gave them a try- we enjoyed our meal and returned quick back to the hotel for a good nights rest.
The service was friendly and helpful.

Good place for bbq, they have lots of championships. The ribs are really good with a really good smoke ring on them and a rub crust.
What I really liked was their Bbq sauce flavors, they have 6 of them, you should try #6 and #4 for sure.

If you love smokey, moist BBQ, you need to visit Whole Hog Cafe! They have 6 diverse sauces to enjoy. It's hard to narrow it down to a favorite. The baked potato salad is awesome as well as the yummy brownies.

I stopped by today and had my order faster than a fast food drive through.
