Burger Shack

Wonderful family owned and operated business. The food and service is consistently excellent. The owners and staff are so kind to their customers that it makes the whole lunch experience a pleasant and uplifting part of my day.

I love the atmosphere in this diner almost as much as the food. My son and I ate here Jan 6th 2023. We both had double cheeseburgers. I had fried okra, he had fries. The place was full, but no waiting to get a table. If you’re in a big hurry, go to McD’s. At the Burger Shack they make it fresh so it takes a bit longer. Well worth the wait! The staff makes you feel like you’re family. (The kind of family you wish you had).

Great downtown location, charming building, very friendly service and high quality food. Pricing is a tad high for what is essentially a diner, but worth it for sure. Not the place to go if you’re in a huge rush, but that’s because they make everything fresh. I took way too long to try this restaurant out, don’t delay like I did!

The open face cheeseburger is delicious! The photo is just one half of the burger. I ate the other half already and it was good enough to make me want to submit a review. Staff is friendly, prices are fair and food is fresh. I just wish they were open in the evenings so I could eat here more!!
