With the exception of the boneless wings.. what are you guys thinking?? I was served 6 breaded nuggets with some sauce and charged $7.50?? I felt second hand embarrassment when I saw my plate. My next visit I ordered the chicken strip plate and that was almost as bad. Come on guys! Do better! The bone-in wings are good though and I love the gochujang sauce.”

“This was our first time to eat here. The place is exceptionally clean and organized. We were greeted pleasantly and immediately taken to a table. We ordered fried mushrooms and bone-in wings for our appetizers. The mushrooms were large slices instead of buttons. Both were done to perfection. For our meal we ordered the Swiss mushroom burger (instead of a bun, they put it on lettuce at my request) and the Sweet Sow (hamburger, pork, bacon [pic below]) sandwich, both were extremely delicious. These each came with seasoned, hand-cut fries. They were cut to a perfect size for even doneness, somewhat crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. We highly recommend making a stop or a special trip just to enjoy this place. We will definitely be back!”

“We've driven by Anglers so many times the last few years while visiting Mountain View, but a warm October day made us want to finally stop by for a cold beer - and we were glad we did. They have great array of beer on tap - both standard beers and local (brewed in Arkansas) beers, all served in a heavy frosted mug. Everyone was friendly and informal, several young gals were busy keeping the dining room and deck customers happy. We shared deep fried pickles for an appetizer and had wings and a pulled pork sandwich for our entrees. All were really good - I intend to try their pork tenderloin sandwich next time - they looked so good, This place has a great view of the river and is an ideal place to relax and cool off.”

“I ate here yesterday with some family members. Most of us ordered the 2 piece catfish plate. There was so much food, and the catfish was the biggest pieces of catfish I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant! It came with a bowl of pinto beans, hush puppies, coleslaw, pickled tomatoes, Texas fries, slices of onion, tomato, and lettuce, tarter sauce, and ketchup. The kid we had in the group ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which wasn’t listed in the limited menu, but they were so nice and accommodated her. It came with Texas fries and they offered her different types of bread to put it on. The staff was so friendly and the view is amazing! We watched squirrels, chipmunks, and birds play outside the windows as we ate. Afterwards, we followed the hiking trail from the restaurant down to a creek that joins up with the city park. I highly recommend this place for the food, staff, atmosphere, and nature!”

While we waited for the staff to make our food fresh, my wife knitted her eyebrows tight and ran across the highway to use the restroom at an adjacent gas station.
