“Great, straight-forward, old fashioned deli. I've been coming here since 1983 and still love the regular deli sandwiches which seem more difficult to find. (Gregoire and Summer Kitchen are excellent, but you can't get turkey on rye!) Family run; at least on the second generation. The owner is very personable and lived in Spain. Ask him about it if it's not too busy.”

“The closest I've had to pizza from the tri-state area since living there. I'm a Jersey boy and this is very good pizza. I like the fully crispy crust here but real NY style is chewy and foldable while still crispy. Definitely use the same ovens throughout the Brooklyn/New Haven/Elizabeth area, which is a nice touch. Also real Italian style pizza doesn't have pineapple ????????”

“Having business with a Master Groomer visiting from Japan, we stayed in Berkeley for three days and this "find" of a cafe became our go-to place each late morning for a wonderful meal. Each dish very unique and prepared per person, so fresh. Not Americanized versions as far as I can tell. Hot spicy, medium, & mild available. I love spicy but that may be too spicy for some people. “I come here about once a month. Quality burgers & shakes. Small selection of select craft beers. Unfortunately, the Fries are just OK to good; they used to be outstanding. They used to make a big deal about using beef tallow, but the menu no longer mentions it, so I am guessing they dropped using it. Too bad. There is a counter and a few tables. No booths, so large parties are out. Restaurant and restroom have always been clean. Service has been a little amateurish in the past, but has improved recently (check your to-go order before you leave regardless). EDIT: I'm changing my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. I find myself taking my family there 3 or 4 times a month. The fries still aren't what they used to be (which was AWESOME) but they are still fresh cut.”

“The service was excellent. I ordered the arugula and fennel salad. The goat cheese was scrumptious, oh so good. A little short on the fennel but overall a good salad. I also ordered bread with butter and roasted garlic. The bread was supposed to be sourdough, it was missing the sour part. This restaurant is in Albany, California: across the Bay from the home of sourdough bread. As you can imagine, I was disappointed that the bread wasn't truly, sourdough bread, as was written on the menu. We also ordered the gluten free pizza. Now that was a darn good pizza. They also have Chicago style stuffed pizza. I'm going to have to go back and try it, with another arugula salad!”

“Get the Santa Fe Salad with chicken! You won't regret it! We come here all the time and are never disappointed. Our go-to entree is the salad, but their other dishes are great too. Some of our favorites are the: burritos, enchiladas, ribs(!), 3 kinds of freshly-made salsa, guacamole, chips... Corbina likes their freshly-made corn tortillas while I prefer the flour. Their dishes are on the mild side, so it's up to you to spice it up to your taste. Hot sauce is on every table, plus the salsas we mentioned. I'm getting hungry just writing about Christopher's!”

“This is a good Taco Bell. Like every Taco Bell, it is understaffed. Like a good Taco Bell it is very clean. I give this Taco Bell a solid four out of five stars. I would upgrade to 5 stars if they hired a few more workers to keep the drive thru faster. This is a solid "B" restaurant. It does not get my "A" rating but it could earn it.”
