The Cheeseboard Pizza

Be prepared to have your mind boggled. There are SO many kinds of cheeses, that you get to taste before you purchase. The variation in one kind of cheese can be astounding. The olives are in abundance and super yummy. From brine to oil cured, green or black, excellent selections. Their bakery is amazing, you must try their baguette, sticky morning buns, the rye bread, nothing will let you down. And, the pizza is a must! The daily selections are based of seasonal creative choices that you don't find anywhere else. This is a Berkeley Gourmet Ghetto Gem!

Always great pizzas! Vegetarian, cooked fresh, co-op set up, frequently live music and a band! A great go to for pizza, drinks, and even salads! There's almost always a line but it moves quickly, buy pizza by the slice, half, or whole pizza, bonus slices thrown on top! There are gluten free options as well. This place seems to be quite popular as there was a line when I went. They only have one kind of pizza each day which is kind of unusual but I guess that makes things move quicker. It's nice that they give you an extra little slice with your order. They also had live music which is nice. The pies are quite big so I wouldn't order a whole one unless you're really hungry.

I absolutely love the live music there. I love this place because they make it easy. No you cant customize your pizza, they have a set pizza for everyday of the week. But you will not be disappointed. Line was out the door when I got there, but I had my food within 3 minutes and was listening to the delightful jazz band they had that night. The place is vegetarian and I'm excited to see what other creations they've come up with.

Cheeseboard Pizza is one-of-a-kind. Frequently, the lines will be around the block and it is raved about. I decided to see what all the hype was about and visited this fine establishment myself. I was not disappointed. Each day, they concoct a new pizza, each with a distinct flavor profile. These pizzas are always delicious, and it is always fun to visit Cheeseboard Pizza.
