It is just about the only place left in the Bay Area where you can have casual fine dining and still have a conversation with the person across the table. The food is very good and drinks are well made. There is a parking garage that is easily accessible just across the street.

(December 1, 2018, 3:23 am)The food here was great. Though a bit on the pricey side (especially for the fish dishes), the food is prepared very well. It's not traditional Middle Eastern but now of a modern California take on Middle Eastern. Which is great. The service was friendly and attentive. But for the price, I'd come back often.

(November 30, 2018, 3:12 am)Honestly, a great place wonderful menu, phenomenal cocktails, and great service. Definitely worth a shot. It's my go to in Downtown Berkeley now. Be sure to get Sam as your bartender. He's the best and designed the Bushel and a Peck. It's the perfect winter cocktail
