Gordito amigos Taqueria

As a vegan, it can be hard to find Mexican food out and about. There are a few options in Berkeley, but this is the only one I've found that also has vegan cheese and sour cream. But the really impressive part: they have a dedicated vegan work station where only vegan food is made, which greatly reduces chance of cross contamination. I had the vegan California burrito and it was absolutely delicious. I came back less than a week later!

Vegan food is delicious—totally separate menu, prep station + equipment (see pics)!

Will keep in mind for catering... Totally impressed.

Fantastic food! Finally a great place to get plant-based food across the street from the Berkeley Animal Rights Center. The vegan carnitas are the best!

A group of us ordered from their vegan menu and it’s delicious! They have vegan burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas!! Nothing is cross contaminated. They are open for suggestions of what we want on their new changing menu! The staff is super nice and helpful :)
