    Meh. Needed a new Japanese restaurant and decided to give it a try. It was ok. Nothing to write home about really and it's fairly hard to screw up chicken teriyaki. The chicken seemed watery and lacked flavor.
    The sushi, however, was pretty good. The katsu had a weird taste.
    Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen.

    Always my goto local place. Never much of a wait. Food & service are always great.

    Incredible authentic local hole-in-the-wall, would highly recommend. Never thought we'd find this in Castro Valley!
