I am not a fan of the seating nor service here but the food is good. Lots of different dumplings, I like the steamed ones. The beef cake has a hint of sweet sauce, making it very delicious. Xiao Long Bao is quite plump. I think the price went up a tiny bit, now it's fair. Previously it was super cheap.
For a small two owner, Chinese workers you can watch behind glass constantly make fresh dumplings and so much more.
They don't overdo it, but surprised my American asian spouse by a not too much ordered item, Egg Drop Soup! Wow, fresh there and ah SO Good! Fresh taste,-not so much salt-Kicks Azz on p f. Chang's drop soup by twenty miles, not frozen, FRESH- FRESH Here folks- it's a clean version and up to date if a tiny Chinatown bao bakery place.
Dublin's lucky to have this place family owned and happy workers working hard and the soup chicken dumplings oh my goodness SO GOOD ???? Be brave and adventure, now they have larger quantities to go for home for your freezer. So smart. Hot tea ugh isn't on the menu, but available.
Nice guys, and accommodating and quick.
Must try.
The pork bao has decent amount of soup inside so be careful when baiting it. It’s pretty good.
The beer pancake has little amount of beef, but it taste good. Wish they added a little more to it.
Really good - so fresh and tasty! Happy to see a new Chinese dumpling place opening up in Dublin. There aren't too many options on the menu (not quite a dim sum place - focus is on dumplings/buns). In spite of how busy the place was, everything was served quickly (not all at once, but still all quite fast!).
The restaurant is on the smaller side - maybe about 10 tables. There's likely going to be a wait, especially when this place gets more popular! You wait (likely in a line) and order first, then you wait some more to get seated.
We ordered cucumber salad (a special), crab and pork xiao long bao, beef roll pancake, and golden fried buns with condensed milk. Overall, I loved each dish we ordered - each was special in its own way. Everything was amazingly fresh, and I would definitely come back again!
Everything tastes super fresh. The buns are definitely the best in my opinion. Fluffy, good filling, and the flavors are great.
