Pig In A Pickle

Best thing for me was the sweet pickles. Homemade yummy!!! As a retired BBQ restaurant owner I'm pickier than most. The pulled pork was tender. The brisket was tender, but not seasoned enough. I'm not a fan of smoked meats, but if you are you'll like it for sure. Mustard based potato salad was good, slaw after I added a little sugar was good and the beans are good enough. I bought additional pickles to take home.

Excellent brisket! Tender, juicy, flavorful - better than a lot of the BBQ places in Texas and around that I've had. Highly recommend -- get about a third to a half pound per person. It's not cheap but definitely worth it.

I tried the pull pork and the rib. The favor is pretty good. However, it is a bit dry. I am not a big BBQ friend, so I do not have much to compare it with. I think they are good but definitely not comparable to BBQ from the South (Tennessee, Texas).

good BBQ for this area! brisket is smoky and tender. pulled pork is tasty and not dry at all. no wait when is was there 6:30pm on a Monday. its inside the Emeryville public market so there's parking outside in the lot. sauces are too sweet though.

I had the brisket and it was excellent. Fantastic barbeque, great friendly service. The ranch style beans are marvelous.
