Mama lamees

The mezza platter provides a small scoop of different dips - not bad, but not extraordinary enough to justify the restrained portions and high price. The falafels would be better if they were hotter as they seemed to be quickly thrown on the grill

Pretty much perfect in every way. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Tried the chicken shawarma wrap and everything was fresh, the flavors were immensely good, and the portion was big.

Visited for the first time tonight and ordered the chicken shawarma. The two women at the counter were kind and welcoming. Knowing it was my first time there, they offered me amazing samples while I waited. I tried the falafel and the cauliflower stew with rice and they were both MIND-BLOWING. Such amazing flavor, plus the hospitality was much appreciated. I’ll be back soon for a full portion of the cauliflower stew. :)

Delicious good food! Had the chicken shwarma. Cost about $12-13 but worth it because they were large portions! Had leftovers for dinner. Limited drink availability but nice family owned business, was actually recommended by the hotel I stayed at.

Mama Lamees prepares delicious, authentic Palestinian food. It’s a great spot for a quick lunch in the Public Market. It’s family-run and it shows in a good way. The service is friendly and the food tastes homemade. I had the chicken shawarma and the lentil soup, both were delicious. Highly recommended!
