“The location is pretty convenient. Right in the heart of West Oakland/Emeryville border. The tables are not really clean when you come early in the morning, which is when I usually go. I always have to search for a table that has been wiped down (because you seat yourself so you have to look for a clean table). The staff is great and always greet you. The food is good. The buttermilk pancakes, obviously, are the best.”

“I've only has the bacon, egg, and cheese and coffee, but for a local joint it's good. Definitely get their Cold Brew it's delicious and they put time into making it. Great notes and flavors. They are also always trying to experiment with new dishes and the menu, so you'll always see something new when you go in. Go here for a good vibe.”

“I love visiting this little bakery. The beautiful colors of their macarons always put me in such a great mood. The bakery is conveniently located inside the food court in a small corner. The baked goods are delicious and affordable compare to other bakeries in the Bay area. They also have really interesting flavors for their macarons. My favorite was the Earl Gray tea macaron. I highly recommended this place.”

“Black Diamond Is an all around ok cafe. Nothing super special, nothing that really wowed me, but it definitely wasn't bad. The coffee is good, the ambiance is fine. If they wanted 5 stars out of me they would update their furniture to something more comfy and update their lighting. It's has a bit of a cafeteria vibe.”
