Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant

Weekend Dim-Sum is always full of people, food quality is great, just like their Sunnyvale store. price is medium, between BK bistro and Koi Palace.

This Chinese restaurant has a rather sizable hall, with several tables for large parties. We had one table for 14 people for dimsum on a Saturday around 11:30am. Some of the service staff is old style, not rude but then not exactly courteous. The dimsum is kind of average among dimsum restaurants in the area, meaning it is good. The xiajiao, or hargao in Cantonese (steamed shrimp dumpling), which is often the measure of dimsum's quality, is above average. The skin is not thick and the shrimps inside seemed fresh. The restaurant's decor is good, but probably due to the low ceiling and reflective walls, it was rather noisy inside. The restrooms are not appealing, especially one or two hours after opening. Prices are reasonable for San Francisco Bay area (so they are higher than those in Greater LA area). A good choice for eating dimsum but not so great for a quiet meal.

Good dim sum. Really long wait so don’t go for lunch. Weekend dim sum where you have time to wait is ok.

Ordered crab tofu which was very tasty. Also got the salted egg shrimp pumpkin and it is a HEAVENLY buttery crunchy sinful dish! The meal came with free red bean sago dessert at the end. Very comforting!! Love it. ???? ???? ????

We came here twice, both times were for dinner. No crowd but the food is till awesome. We like their lobster e-mian (noodle) and the food portion is generous!
