“I've been here a lot as a kid, and just recently came back. I ordered my usual fish soup noodles, which I can't really find elsewhere, and it was delicious. They serve this delicious spicy pepper on the side, and it complements the noodle soup really well. The noodles have fish (obviously), fish cake, mushrooms. Really tasty! Food quality is quite good and price is fair for quantity at around $12 post-tax.”

“I like this place. However beware those with peanut allergies and shrimp allergies. My girlfriend had issues. On the food side, huge and delicious egg rolls. Comes with sweet and sour sauce OR, each table has bottle of plum sauce!!!. I had the won ton soup and it was very good. It's a mix of pork and shrimp. Minor detail, the meats are thoroughly mixed, I prefer chunks of prawn or shrimp. Not a real problem. Broth itself is just right. Will return, without girl friend.”

“I like this place. It's a classic Cantonese style BBQ house. They have both dine in or to go options. Within 10 dollars, one gets 1／4 of a roasted duck, enough rice, a little vegetable and hot tea, most of them are delicious. It's more like street food but not a very clean restaurant. Affordable and tasty. A good place for a quick lunch. $10 minimum to use a credit card. When dine in, sometimes there could be no waiter, and one has to wait in the to go line for 5-10 minutes. Regarding flavors, I rate it as one of the best among Cantonese BBQ places in east bay.”

“Unless you are going for the promo, do not go in late in the day after a promo. IHOP was offering a free stack of pancakes today if you donated to a charity. 7am-7pm on all the promotions. This location apparently ended theirs at 2pm. Okay, no biggie. I missed out. Giant posters offering a limited time all you can eat pancakes with the purchase of an omelette. Well that sounds like a great deal. I order the steak omelette. It came out fairly quick and tasted great to me. The problem is the staff after a promotion. They probably brought more staff in to handle the promo but everyone was beleaguered. My server more so than others. Appeared to rush my initial order and came with my check after I had finished my omelette and pancakes. I had to request more pancakes which surprised him but he agreed to get me another 2. It took awhile which I could understand. It came out great. But that was it. My server did not seem to come down my aisle again or check up on me. Did not get a refill on water once or offered any more of the unlimited pancakes. He unfortunately did not identify himself, turned quickly when I tried to look at his name tag, and was not the server listed on my check. Can’t say I blame the staff but do yourself a favor and not go in after a promo. The food was still good but everyone looked battle weary and customer service seemed to suffer.”
