The Terrace Room Restaurant

The Terrace Room is a really beautiful restaurant. The back part of the dining area is all windows so you can look out at the lake while you are eating.

The food is very good. I have ordered a hamburger and fries and I have no complaints about either. The fries were hot and seasoned. The hamburger was cooked like I asked and was very juicy.

The overall atmosphere is very nice. It appears very fancy but all employees are very kind. They host trivia on Wednesday nights and it is always a great time.

The first time I went here it was amazing. The next time, I called to make a reservation and they claimed they "weren't accepting any outside reservations"? Not sure what they meant. Tried to go there again the next day for brunch. When I got there, the restaurant was completely empty, but they again said they were too busy to seat the 4 of us, there was literally nobody else there? Long story short, it's really good unless they refuse to seat you?

The Terrace Room’s gorgeous view and old Oakland atmosphere is what drew us in, but the competitive packages and knowledgeable staff is what sold us on booking our wedding with them. They were able to accommodate all of our requests, including a delicious vegan entree option.

Booking The Terrace Room was the easiest part of the planning process. We highly recommend them!

Had the crab omelet, home fried potatoes and bottomless mimosa...Excellent!

The service was really good and they make great drinks for brunch. Including unlimited mimosas and bloody Marie's. Food was amazing, I had the eggs benni and tried the omelette and burger. All three very good. Great place for birthday celebrations and a good place for a date.
