Bardo Lounge & Supper Club

I'd give this place a 3.5 with room for improvement. It's a new place and still finding its feet. The space is beautiful, midcentury and the bar menu is fantastic. The food is very good and the service acceptable but both could be amped up a little. I look forward to coming back and trying again soon.

They seem to have nailed something a little different here - and that is not easy. 60s supper club meets modern Oakland . The decor was very retro but cool and cozy. We ate upstairs in the (tiny) dining room. The cocktails we're retro themed and tasty! The dinner was prix fixe with options for each course. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The service was completely on point. We will be back soon.

Great vibe. Delightful decor. Gentle lighting. Comfy couches. Friendly service. Nice thoughtful touches. Yummy food and drinks. Would definitely go back.

Oh such a wonderful kicked up mid-century lounge and Supper Club. They have so many food items that have been elevated late 60s and 70s to current times. Porcupine meatballs pot pies, crudites, and an ice cream sandwich that has been elevated to knock your socks off. Be patient with the service and you will enjoy

Well appointed space with an elevated but very welcoming atmosphere. Staff was friendly who were eager to help. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a wait for drinks and at times it seemed a bit disorganized. However, I have no doubt they’ll flesh that out in the next couple of weeks hence the five stars. The food was quite good and came out in a timely manner. Very glad to have them on the block and look forward to going back.
