Located in Oakland Chinatown, this place is a gem! It offers a wide variety of Cantonese style soup and food. I'm a fan! Highly recommended!
Really great restaurant. Soups are delicious and well priced. I've tried a variety of their dishes and have not been disappointed. Pickup is very convenient during the pandemic.
Their herbal soup and lotus leaf steamed rice was what attracted us to trying this place. We ordered the herbal chicken soup /lotus leaf wrapped eel rice combo and the herbal lamb soup/lotus leaf wrapped steamed chicken mushroom rice and they were all very delicious. The price is reasonable and the food did not disappointed. Will definitely go back again. It was pretty busy when we were there during the lunar new year street festival but managed to get a table as we were a small party of 2. Service was fast and responsive. It’s a family friendly place with kids playing drums with chopsticks on plates.
The food is good. They are very unique in that much of their menu isn't too similar to other restaurants around. A downside is you have to use your imagination of what the food looks like because their menu didn't have any pictures, nor do specials posted on the wall.
I would come here again.
They are a tad expensive though, compared to volume of food you get.
A restaurant where the food has a focus on health and well being? Yes... I am intrigued. I will be back for more. I ordered the special, braised flank with rice noodles. The soup was tasty. Not my favorite, but I felt amazing after I finished. It cost me $9.00 and it included a free drink ( savings!!!!) They make their food using herbs and spices designed for healing and well being. I am curious about all the other dishes. Places that focus on tradition, authenticity and wellness have a special place in my heart. This may just become my go to soup spot.
