“Review will be on sushi experience only not ramen side of things, it won't be fair. Nikkei Sushi was mark as (recently open) on Gmap, so I'm thinking how good can this be being inside a ramen joint, a place I haven't try. Later I came to realized, it's the same owner as Hopscotch which I'm a fan of. Being a high-end sushi fan living between sin city and bay area these prices are nothing compare to sushi joints that I have gone. So I went ahead with rainbow roll USD$13 added spicy maguro roll USD$8 each roll is comparable to what you would pay at any sushi joint which isn't bad, if you view it as USD$10.50 a roll between these two, that's how I see it, even when it's proportioned for sharing. After unboxing starting with rainbow roll girth is nice, but rice weren't together some pieces on the brink of falling apart rice look jagged and harsh not sure if knife issue or not. Sushi rice was at normal temperature and edible, but I had a weird taste not sure what to think of it. Their stock photo shown wasn't close to what I got, all three fish protein even avacado were nearly paper thin strips drape over roll without much care. Maguro roll pretty much the same wasn't spicy good thing I didn't expect anything higher than grocery store sushi boxes because that's exactly how I feel. Gari (pickled ginger) and powder wasabi mixed is standard store bought stuff nothing notable. Now, the experience for dine-in (when will that happen with SIP still in place) might be different to takeout, but there may be no differences to be honest. They do caviar and door dash only. “currently take-out only. when ordering over the phone and agree on a take out slot time. i showed up precisely on time and was told my pizza was being pulled from the oven. The pizza itself is larger than i'd thought from observing them on instrgram, but was still light and crunchy. this is the best pizza i've had in some time - the fresh basil and plentiful cheese on crust was a nice touch. I'll leave another review when they're open for dine-in - the space looks really nice. recommend to call between 3-4 since they usually sell out.”

I am glad they are open for to go orders, and I am happy to support them during the shelter in place (and after) I was a little skeptical about this place, as I thought it might be a lot of hype, but it didn't disappoint. The food was on point. The popcorn chicken and waffles bits was great. The chicken was fried to delicious perfection, and the waffle had sweet bits of something on them. It was served with syrup and a small amount of popcorn. I was a little thrown off by the popcorn, but after eating it, I wish there was more. The Blackstone Benedict was awesome. The millionaire's bacon was delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the potatoes that came with it. Everything was packed really well, so nothing was soggy by the time I got it home. I will definitely be visiting again.”

This place actually has the same owner as Spices 3, so their flavor is amazing and on point! Best of all, it’s still not well know so for those quiet chilly Bay Area nights a bowl of hot soup and deliciously chewy qq noodles will warm your stomach warm your heart. I’m super surprised there wasn’t a review or even a picture already! Everyone should give this places’ brisket noodles a try, either original or spicy. I saw on yelp they have really good wings too!! (Not surprising as the explosive fried wings at Spices 3 is me and my bf’s fav dish!) Didn’t get to try it as the bowl of noodles was huge. Def will come back and bring more friends over. I believe this is the old Spices 3 location- so next time you find that Spices 3 across the street has too long of a wait, do NOT hesitate to give Spicy Noodle house a chance! This place def deserves to be filled like its predecessor!”

“Bissap is a great restaurant nestled in downtown Oakland, a few blocks away from the 12th Street Oakland BÀRT train station!. Vibrant atmosphere, colorful African paintings, and music. For best value, at $10.99, try the lunch buffet-flavorful veggies, spicy red black eyed peas,chicken drumsticks in peanut sauce, plantains and salad. Be sure to get the delicious creamy dressing and the spicy orange sauce for the eat. It's not an all you can eat buffet, you can get two helpings only, so pile up your plate! The dinner menu has the same dishes, us a few more. I don't recommend the lamb, it was tough and chewy. The shrimp with coconut is tasty. Dinner is more costly, and the meat portions are tiny. There are tropical cocktails, made with tamarind, a ginger margarita, and more... The tall drinks are pretty and festive, but full of ice, so only a small drink.”
