“Camino offers a 3 course steak dinner on Mondays throughout June & July. The courses are a salad, main, & dessert. The starter is a grilled eggplant and tomato salad, which was delicious. It might look like a small serving. But, take your time & it'll be quite filling. Next, was the main course of steak. The short rib was delicious with the right amount of fat & meat. Also, the meat peels off the bone easily. The sirloin is tender & delicious. Last, dessert was peaches & figs. While I'm not a peach person, the dessert, as a whole, was a fun way to end the meal. Also, I ordered a dessert wine which paired well. The waitress treated us well and made good recommendations for my beer & dessert wine. The restaurant is pricey, so this would be a once-in-a- while treat. Will return when offered again.”

Although I'm a huge fan of the chunky guacamole with tomatoes, cilantro and onion, I'm pleased to say their guacamole changed my prospective as it was a creamy delightful guacamole. The lunch special on the tacos was at a great price that won't break your bank but maybe your belt. The taco meat was tender, not dry, and the best part, the torilla never broke! ???? “4 of us just had lunch here about two hour ago (Sunday about 1130AM). Two of our friends were dying to come back from their last visit a year ago, since they really love the bun bo hue here (spicy beef/pork noodle soup) but the place was closed for months for remodeling. For two of us, it was our first time. As it turned out, we verified that the original owners have moved and opened their own restaurant about 4 blocks away at 207 E. 18th St under the SAME name - Pho King! We'll have to go give them a try another time. We ordered a spring roll (goi coun), a beef pho, two bun bo hue, and a bun rieu (crab noodle soup). My friend really liked his bun bo hue, he said it was one of the best he's had in Oakland (nearby Ao Sen restaurant's bun bo hue is his other fav). For me, unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the bun rieu - it was one of the worst I've had in the Bay Area. The bun rieu was overly greasy (you can see a lot of grease in the pic). The primary flavor/taste of bun rieu is supposed to be crab and tomato, which are the primary ingredients of this dish. This however, was more pork tasting - they even included chunks of pork, which I've never had in this dish at other restaurants. The other highlight of this dish is supposed to be the chunks of crab meat, egg and pork balls but the ones here you can barely taste any crab and was on the bland side. Definitely would not order bun rieu here again because it's too greasy and porky as opposed to a rich crab and tomato based broth/flavor profile of good bun rieu. Warning - kitchen staff may NOT follow requests. Waiter wrote down my request for no pork blood cubes but my bun rieu came out with them anyways ;/ Service was so-so - understaffed and folks who bring your food hurried away and didn't want to help if you asked them for anything (another sauce dish etc.). Likely will not come back here and go give the other Pho King a try.”

“I have been receiving meals from Planted Table for a few weeks now. I have been very impressed with the consistent quality ingredients and delicious meals. Having fresh, organic, vegan ready to eat meals has really made my life much easier. I admit to sometimes being to lazy to cook a healthy meal. With Planted Table, I just reach into my refrigerator for a fully prepared lunch or dinner. I also love their smoothies in the morning. At first, I thought it was a bit pricey, but the food is delicious and plentiful. I have found it's well worth it. I really appreciate that the meals are delivered in glass dishware that are ready to eat right out of, heat or freeze for later. The entire process is environmentally friendly. Definitely recommend checking them out!”

But if you want it crispy then ask if it was cooked awhile ago because this location doesn't do a lot of volume so food can be sitting for awhile. Very nice people, park in their front lot. I've had their sides of jambalaya and Mac n cheese which are very good. Biscuits are crunchy and have the sweet honey on top. The tenders Family Meal is a best value at $18.49. A 2 piece meal is just $4.99.”
