“A very cozy family owned restaurant. A short but varied menu. Food is totally on point. I particularly enjoyed the homemade mushroom pasta. The pasta has a good bite and has a strong mushroom flavor. The waiters are very nice and responsive. Patio seating is a plus. Will definitely be coming back. A great addition to the Pleasanton restaurant corridor!”

“The Sunshine is a dive bar, and I say that with a great deal of affection. The food is good bar fare, and the daily dinner specials are good and cheap. A nice combo. Drinks are always cold too. A great place to catch a game on TV during the day and evening, and then the dance group can come in later at night on the weekends.”

“James is freaking awesome!!! Love that guy!! He made us some super good mules and went above and beyond to get to know us. Sam was another staff that helped us and he was great too. The drinks are so good but I'd come back just for the staff!”
