Food is pretty good! Huge dessert selection now.
I love the Hong Kong style dishes here.
I'd love to try everything in their menu.
A Hong Kong style cafe worth waiting for! Recently of all the criticism I've been seeing on yelp/google reviews from bad service to food, it seems its a swing or a miss type of deal at this location. When I visited today, it seems things are in perfect order...
If you speak Chinese! xD
Now this wasn't a problem relating to my table, more so over hearing a conversation from a couple White/Asian group of 4 nearby ordering, the waiter had to ask the group to repeat themselves multiple times, and when the waiter read back the order, it wasn't accurate and got another employee to help her out. Now i dont know if this a common occurrence to other people who primarily speaks english or if its even mentioned in the more critical yelp/google reviews...
With that out of the way, the whole place looks pretty nice, almost upscale, from the thick premium main and dessert menu that show every menu item that shows every items so close, you thought they hired the photographer that shoots and edits Gordon Ramsay videos on YouTube! The leather seats and the table themselves are starting to show premature(?) wear, but the ceiling tiles and decorations seem to be in good shape, but you could tell that this location didn't open yesterday! Its clean and simple, pretty good.
Now the food, I ordered one of the baked items, the shrimp and mushroom with cheese with Spaghetti is a good one! It tasted as good as it looks with its bubbling cheese still served really hot! It was really delicious!
That said, other than that conversation I heard, and speaking to the waiters in Chinese, service was reasonable and speedy despite how long it takes to make baked spaghetti! There is a wait around peak hours, so try to come around when the close at 3 P.M before reopening at 5 P.M! :D
