Fantastic ramen and service. Planning on going regularly and glad to see union landing get some high quality eateries.

I've been here twice in the past 2 days, it was that good that we had to come back and try the other flavors right away! My favorite is the black garlic detox right now. I love the interior decor and vibe, it's just such a nice place to relax and have some delicious ramen.

This place is amazing! Love the ambiance of the place. The ramen is worth the wait! I went to eat here two times in a row it was that good!

This is our first time here (never been to SF location), but had high expectations in general cuz of all the hype.

We ordered:

- ginjo tori paitan signature, chashu, mild, thin noodles (added an ajitama egg)
- spicy blaze, chashu, mild, thick and wavy noodles (added an ajitama egg)
- karaage

We loved the karaage, it was very meaty, well seasoned and had nice crunch that wasn't heavily battered. It came with a spicy mayo sauce and a lemon slice.

The spicy blaze ramen was very good, not too spicy but a good enough kick to make your nose sweat. The broth was creamy and flavorful, and the chashu was thin and tender. There was also fried garlic and fried red ginger. The gobo chips were a nice touch for aesthetics but also texture, since they were crunchy. Noodles were al dente.

The tori paitan was also creamy, but we thought it tasted a little bland and we're not sure if that's intended. We asked the staff and it seems like it's expected to be very subtle in flavor unless you up the spice.

We will come back to try the tori paitan again to confirm if it tastes the same. Highly recommend getting the spicy blaze if you're looking for more kick and flavor.

As they just did their soft opening, this review will only reflect the food. I will come back and update my review to also include service, pricing, and timing.

I stumbled on this place as I was walking by at Union Landing. I'm really glad to see a Japanese ramen place open up as I frequent Union Landing.

While waiting in line, I was given a menu to choose my options and then handed it to the front cashier before sitting down. The restaurant is small with about 6 tables, so this place will fill up fast, but it was nicely decorated and the ambience was perfect.

The ramen was bold, delicious, and had just the right mixture of flavors. I tried the Ginjo Toripaitan Signature Ramen with Ajitama Egg. The Ajitama Egg was extra for $1.75 for one full egg and I added extra pork chashu for $2.25. I feel the price for the quality of the food was great, but this might seem a little pricier for some. The ramen broth was thick and hearty, it had a great balance of sesame, garlic, and green onion flavors with pork fat. The bowl was a decent size, but may not fill up someone who is really hungry. You may opt for adding more sides (once they are available after soft opening).

I will be returning because the food was super delicious and I want to try some of their other options!

The staff said as they are in soft opening their hours and supplies are limited. I suggest if you want to try this place you arrive before opening and wait for a table. After their soft launch, they will be extending their hours.
