“Love this place!! It's size is bitter-sweet (more sweet than bitter.) This is one of my favorite Bar/Restaurants in Chico. This is primarily because it is a great bar; with great food. I personally recommend the Mac-n-Cheese. I get grief from colleagues and friends because of how much I order it. As a bar, they have a great beer selection, and full service bar. You can belly-up, sit down, or just stand and converse (depending on the time of year/day... standing may be the only option... if you know Chico... you know this is expected.) I do wish it were just a little bit bigger, but it may be a blessing in disguise that it isn't... I don't need to have that much Mac-n-Cheese.”

Got the simpler platter to share with my wife and it was more than enough for both of us to eat our fill. would definitely recommend the potato salad over the coleslaw and the beans are delicious. Ribs aren't quite fall off the bone, but very good. Pulled pork was the best part and the chicken was delicious as well. Very nice outdoor patio where you get privacy and a nice surrounding to eat your food.”

“The food was really good and our server did a great job. My kids both loved their food too. We went in around 5 pm and it was pretty busy but we got sat right away. It was loud inside and there were a lot of college students and people drinking ( full bar). If I go back, I will leave the kids with a sitter. “This is a favorite of mine; Peeking is always a good option. They have good vegan selection. The prices are good and the food tastes great. The downtown location is convenient as well as their online ordering and delivery options. My favorite dishes are the tofu eggplant, vegan mock meat fried rice, and the sizzling rice soup. “TLDR; Terrible customer service but good food for okay price. Okay, so the staff there had the personality of a log. I would ask for what's good because it's my first time there and she looked at me as if I was stupid and she just dismissively says "everything." I'm like well what do you recommend she again reply in the most annoyed tone "everything". So I ask what bowl is the most popular. She said "I don't know they're all good......" Then after me asking again she finally act's as if I'm stupid for asking and just points up to the sign and says "that". So I just say okay "let's do that" she then questions me if I I want food there or not. I'm here like WTF??? Are you even listening? She did seem distracted since she came from the back and did seem as if we were interrupting her from something when we came in the door. But, I calmly just replied yes I want do a bowl. She asked again what bowl. And then I see there is a bowl that is I think called the trust me bowl. Where she chooses the ingredients. So I was like you know.... I shouldn't trust her but let's just do it I'm in for an adventure. My date decided what she wanted so what ever let's eat. Lucky the food was pretty darn good. A little expensive for what you're getting but I guess compared to regular sushi its not a terrible price. Honestly I did notice a customer come in to pick up an order she must have phoned it. It makes sense. If they didn't have that service. With employees like the girl who served me today this place wouldn't stay open. But what do i know? I swear it's becoming more and more common that people don't know how to treat customers. It was a pretty bad first time at this place and my date said she seemed pretty damn upset that we were getting food lol.”
