    the food was some of the most delicious Japanese food I have had. The soup had so much flavor and the tempura was crisp and hot. The sake was sweet and hot. I don't like gyoza but I liked this one! This is now my go to Japanese restaurant.

    Their sushi is so fresh and tasty. It's unbelievable that El Cerrito has such a world class sushi spot.

    The best Japanese restaurant in El Cerrito. Large menu, many uncommon traditional dishes. Excellent taste and presentation. The decor is traditional except for three flat screen TV monitors, thankfully with the sound off. Attentive service. Deservedly busy, so expect a wait at peak meal times.

    This place is an awesome hole in the wall. Once you get inside it seems as if you went to Japan (if you never been). The rolls were amazing and the staff was on point.

    Delicious! My family and I have been eating here for 2 years now. Small cozy place. Gets full quick specially on Friday nights.
