“The young ladies that run this shop are Awesome. The Owners are friendly and personable. I had an experience in shop that I almost let get out of hand because of an overbearing and privileged customer who had several sandwiches and wanted each staff member to make a sandwich. It was no way the owners fault and I almost took it there. But the owner stayed calm and kept a smile on her face the whole time. She's wonderful. I even felt compelled to call the store and thank them for being so Awesome. And the sandwiches do not taste franchise quality. They have genuine deli taste. My spot for my Deli sandwich. “This place is so good! My friend and I came here after discovering that most of the restaurants in the afternoon are closed. My friend got the chicken pad thai , which was just the right amount of salty and sweet. I got the spicy seafood noodle soup. It was just mild spicy but plenty tasty! They didn't have the rice noodles that it normally comes with so I substituted it for egg noodles. There was a lot of shrimp, veggies and squid in the soup as well as a good amount of noodles. The restaurant was clean, the service friendly and the price per portion is really a good deal. If I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to come back!”

“UPDATE 2019: I have raised my rating from 3 to 4 stars. This place has excellent customer service, and the food is always a B+ grade. My previous review stands: This is place is like a better version of the Olive Garden. It's a chain restaurant that doesn't try to hide it. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the happy hour deals can't be beat. But don't kid yourself, if you want farm-fresh organic local ingredients this isn't your place. But if you want some decent pasta and a low priced glass of wine in a friendly atmosphere, the El Cerrito Macaroni Grill is great.”
