“Had a beautiful Holiday dinner with friends here! The fresh decorations, quality of ingredients, and delicious espresso was such a joy to experience. This location is beautiful for a dinner with parents, a date, holdiay party or anytime one wants to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food and friends. I highly recommend this local and the owners are such beautiful people! Honoured to have had this experience and look forward to enjoying more times at this beautiful restaurant.”

“Amazing food and service, not trying to be too fancy , just what you want from a taqueria. Good tacos and beer on draft.”

“I came here to eat lunch with my boss since we were in a work trip. We ordered our food and they told us about 10 minutes. It wasn’t even ten minutes and our food was ready. When I opened my box, I was so surprised because the food looks really good and the best thing is that it tastes really good. I savor and enjoy the whole entire meal. The lady who took our order was really nice, lovely and professional and she helped me make a decision since it was my first time there. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.”

“I ordered shrimp taco, didn’t realize it’s a hard shell taco with like a shrimp cake in the middle but it’s really good. The carne asada taco was okay, the meat can use some more seasoning. My husband ordered the burrito and he said it could use some more seasoning, too. The chips are thick and warm, very delicious. Overall a 4 star experience.”

“The coffees are great, but what I really enjoy are their cakes, cookies, and sandwiches. Expensive, yes, but so good! They used to sell some absolutely fabulous lemon tarts - haven't seen them lately, but I hope they'll be back in spring/summer.”

“Good food, smaller portions sushi wise. Orange chicken was crispy and good. The Chinese potstickers were perfect and juciy inside!”

“Good food, but it's not very high quality. Everything is sticker! Go to a local burrito shop if you can.”

“Really small diner in compared to the San Pablo Dam Road location, but good eats when there is not much around the shopping center for food selections. My wife typically go to the San Pablo location near the casino, but this was the first time for this location and we really enjoyed. The food was delicious, good service, pretty quick in compared to San Pablo, clean environment, unlimited fountain drinks and plenty of parking to choose from. We shall return.”

“Great food but watch out for the carry-out orders! We have been eating at and carrying out from the Rockridge location for a few years. When the Moraga location was announced, we are beyond thrilled. Our assessment is that while the food quality is the same as the Rockridge location, the in-restaurant service is still struggling at Moraga location. Service is slow and the staff still appear unsure about the menu and any accommodations. We are hoping this will improve with time. Last night we ordered from Moraga location and were left beyond disappointed. The adults portions were half the size of those served at the restaurant and the kids portion while much smaller than the regular portion, was priced almost the same as the adult portion. Clearly we will not be ordering out anymore but will definitely continue being patrons .”

“Very funky greasy spoon diner. Clientele mostly north of 70 years old. Sticky bathroom floors ... gross! An astonishingly dilapidated building in such an affluent community. However it's rare to find a Monte Cristo sandwich prepared with such nostalgic mediocrity. I'd go back and eat it again.”

“I grew up in San Francisco and moved to Lamorinda after I got married 30 years ago. Back then it was hard to find authentic Thai food at this side of the Tunnel. The only place sI truly enjoyed were Jitr Thai in Alamo and Royal Siam here in MoragaThe owner raised her kids in Lamorinda and has owned the restaurant for many many years. Food is authentic, both lunch and dinner menu are amazing. The only complaint I have is. The Thai iced tea is made with lactaid free milk ( maybe someone at the restaurant is lactose intolerant?)and tastes inferior than other Thai restaurants”

“I ate here in October for my first time. It was pretty good. The sushi was great! Reasonably priced for sushi rolls. We got 4 rolls for a total of $56, which seems pretty typical for sushi in our area. We arrived before the busy rush of the evening but as we were leaving there was a very long line waiting to be seated. The place is pretty small with not a lot of tables, so I suggest to arrive before dinner rush time. The only reason I am not giving them 4 stars is because I used the restroom while I was there and it was terribly disgusting. This may have been a one time event, maybe it's usually perfectly clean, but for my visit it was terrible. Sum it up: food was great and I would definitely recommend eating here (maybe just use the restroom before you arrive) My recommendation: try the butterface roll and add cream cheese!”

“One of the first and original Chinese restaurants in Lamorinda. The fact that it's still around with a busting lunch hour is nothing sort of a miracle. I was introduced to it by a Caucasi as n friend who was born in Orinda 60+ years ago.... Even though I'm Chinese myself. The lunch menu includes soup, a small pot sticker or egg roll, selection and rice. The customers are mostly devoted aged locals.”
