“Absolutely fabulous! The staff was very nice and make me feel prioritized. The simple decorating offers a warm, homey feeling that makes you feel welcomed. I ordered the clam chowder and it was simply divine. It was creamy and delicious. Because it is a drive through, I was at first uncertain about how I would eat my soup, but the staff directed me to a private park located just behind the restaurant. There were many picnic tables that were perfect for eating on. The park had a rose garden in the back that I highly recommend walking through. The park also had a large grassy area and a small play structure perfect for young kids. Overall, I love this restaurant and will visit it many times in the future.”

Very well-balanced flavors and beautiful presentation. Lots of vegetarian and meat options, good wine selection, and a few good beers on tap. This place is relatively new, so I hadn't had a chance to try it before. I will definitely be returning. Very convenient location in Orinda Theatre Square, with a parking garage and usually ample street parking nearby. Also accessible by BART, just a short walk from Orinda Station.”

Check it out--but leave 1 table free for us, please! 1 year later, I must change review. The new owner is driving this place into the ground with a bumbling wait staff that can't get orders straight or even serve a glass of water without invading diners' personal space. “Been here about 4 times now. 3/4 times were great and the food was exactly what I wanted with friendly service but that one time the soughdough they used was a bit stale and I couldn't get over how terrible the loaf of bread was. I really do think that one time was a fluke and I would be surprised if it happened again. Down a star because I could feel the loaf was stale as soon as I was handed the sub and you would think the person who makes multiple Subs a hour would be able to tell the bread was bad as they were making it but still thought it was ok to serve.”
