    Good lunch spot. Good brisket sandwiches. Gets busy and parking lot is small.

    I love Slow Hand and they also have another location in Downtown Martinez. The ribs are tender, and cant go wrong with the brisket burger. Great selection of beers too. Get in my belly!! ????

    By far the best BBQ in the East Bay (maybe the Bay as a whole, but I haven’t personally verified that) is here & at their Pleasant Hill location. We live in Berkeley make a point to come to Slow Hand every time we’re in this area. Martinez people, recognize how lucky you are to have folks who know their way around a smoker like these folks. (The expansive tap list and usual availability of Pliny or Whistle Pig is a special A+ bonus.)

    Slow Hand does smoked meats justice.

    Great smokey flavors and always tender, whatever you choose. Ribs, Tri-tip, Corned Beef (Fri only), Brisket have all been excellent.

    Nice selection of craft beers on tap as well.

    Counter service so order at the register and they bring it to your table.

    Super friendly staff.

    They recently expanded to Martinez in the former Beaver Creek Smokehouse space.
