Me an my wife just tried it for the first time first of all there lumpias are bomb an I got the bbq pork chops they were perfect an my wife got the chicken pancit an she loved it
Great Filipino brunch and dinner close to home. Must try their longanisa and crispy pata.
I'm Filipino-American and let me tell you: this is an excellent Filipino restaurant. You could go to Seafood City in Concord, but honestly, the food there leaves something to be desired. I'd rather cook than get some of the things at Seafood City.
Jun's Island Fusion is on another level. I would call it an elevated, more refined and modern approach to Filipino food. Yes, it's a little more expensive than traditional Filipino restaurants, but those places tend to cater to more casual eaters.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is certainly casual, and some of the items on the menu pair well with a beer for sure (lumpia Shanghai, for example), but entrees like their BBQ steak may have you believe that you're dining in 5-star white tablecloth type of restaurant. We also ordered the bachoy, which was simply delicious, and the bangus sisig. My wife hasn't had a bangus that's she enjoyed until she tried the one here. Definitely order this on your first visit. Next time we go, we're going to get the halo halo - not enough room in the belly this time around.
It was a super tasty dinner, and I hope more diners will come and check this place out. You might just want to book a flight to the Philippines after you eat here. Highly recommended!
