The Original Hick'ry Pit

Like always The Original Hick'ry Pit what we like to call Piggly Wiggly ???????? was on Point. The service was great the food was and is absolutely delicious. Oh special shout out to the owner son who is a cool dude sorry I forget your name but big ups for the pie.

I've been here many times. The food is pretty consistently ok. The service could be worked on. Today my food was tough to chew and I had to send it back. It came back exactly the same. I had it taken off of the bill and ended up sharing with my friend her meal.

The Original Hickory Pit should be a national institution. Every dish comes out from the kitchen the same way each and every time. There are no surprises. The food is always good, and very enjoyable. If you are into BBQ meat, this is the place to go. They have an excellent selection of sliced meats and ribs. The service is always very good, and rarely there is a wait for a table. It is a casual restaurant, but some people might find the pricing to be a bit high for a casual family style restaurant. The quality of the meat is excellent, so I feel that the pricing reflects the quality of the food. I have been going to this restaurant for years, and will continue to go when I have a craving for their incredible ribs and sliced meats.

This place was amazing. The food was delicious and the food is not crazily priced. The waitress I had was really nice and always wanted to make sure we were cared for. I would definitely recommend you to go if you enjoy a diner feeling restaurant. The one thing I would say is that parking is not the best at this restaurant.
