C C Diner & Ice Cream

Just passing through crescent city. I live in a much bigger city, and travel a fair amount. I only say that because their texas baconator is legitimately the best burger ive had in a long long time. Made with some give a damm, which i very much appreciate. Not cheap, but ive had a lot worse for more. Which i do not appreciate.
- Sweet potato fries, standard.
-Real milkshake (peanut butter and chocolate), with that superior ‘real milkshake’ quality, with big pile of whipped cream on top.
- Sunlight warmed booths.
- friendly staff

Standard diner quality, but more limited menu. Large selection of burgers. Good for a quick bite. No table service (just table delivery after ordering). Good ice cream selection; only 1 non-dairy option. They do malted milk shakes 😋 . A unique twist is adding cereal to your milkshake. Staff was friendly and fast, even though I forgot my wallet both times when I ordered.

Yummy burgers and sandwiches with fries. Tons of ice cream flavors to choose from. Very reasonably priced. Large seating areas. Staff were helpful, quick and accommodated all our kids pickiness!!

My party of 7 absolutely loved the staff, they were working so hard to deal with dinner rush and were so sweet. Particular the gals who worked on my father's banana split, I wish I had taken a photo because that thing was BEAUTIFUL!

The food was, according to my uncle, "The best damn burger I've had on this trip" and we've been traveling down the coast for a week! Everything was good and cooked well!

Dang good hamburgers and we enjoyed the ice cream. The portion sizes were almost more than most of us could eat. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor/environment is lacking a little and the place could be a little cleaner, but it wasn't bad. I would return if I'm ever in this area again.
