A local hot spot! This place is always busy so make sure you pan to wait a bit... but let me tell you it is worth the wait. The food and service are amazing! Portions are huge and the service is spot on! This is a breakfast lunch place and we tried it all. Their omelets are unique, they cook the meat and veggies right into the egg and wrap it around a cheese center. The turkey Ortega is made very well though I think they could have grilled the bread a bit longer. The burger is huge! My sister could only eat half so we recommend sharing. Fries were crispy and delicious. When you arrive make sure your entire party is with you, as they won’t seat you until everyone is there. I saw kids there enjoying their food so it’s definitely kid friendly.
Bert’s is the BEST breakfast in Tahoe. Friendly and fast service, great menu with lots of choices, and the best food around!!! When we visit Tahoe we go at least once or twice. The omelettes are amazing. Pancakes, delicious. It’s all good really!! Go on the early side to avoid waits!!
We had a group of five people, and had to wait awhile to be seated. It was worth the wait as everyone enjoyed their food. The service was topnotch as the waitress' were very attentive. Overall: Very Good Job!
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is a little plain but it's made quick and fresh. Great for early birds
Went there with a group of 6 and they got us into a comfortable spot. We were all from Louisiana and the biscuits and gravy were on-point. Service was phenomenal and it was an all around great way to start the day. I would definitely go back if I were back in the area.
